The wishbone has been a good luck symbol luck since Ancient Roman times but the term "wishbone" was created around 1800. Traditionally two people each hold a side of the wishbone while making a wish. The person snapping the longest piece gets their wish.  If both sides snap evenly, both wishes will come true - but no snapping is required with this beautiful pendant!
