Designed over 400 years ago in Claddagh, a fishing village, The Claddagh ring is part of the Irish Story. Fishermen wore Claddaghs so they could be returned to their village if lost at sea. There is some thought that the Claddagh rings may have also come from the Roman Mani in Fede rings. While the full story is shrouded in mist and folklore, today's Claddagh ring wearers are adding their own chapter to the story.
